Product Notes

Elvio Cogno Dolcetto d`Alba Vigna del Mandorlo is an inspiring Italian red wine. This appealing Dolcetto option flows from the famed Alba region, an epicentre of winemaking brilliance. Mandorlo lends pronounced vibrant cherry, plum, and almond notes, beautifully complemented by spicy undertones. On the palate, one is rewarded with a medium-bodied profile, smoothly balanced by pleasing acidity and soft velvety tannins. Lingering hint of sweet spices neatly rounds off the pleasant aftertaste. Reflecting the authentic heritage of Piedmont in every sip, it is a versatile choice for gastronomic pairings. This fine offering from Elvio Cogno stays unforgettable long after the last drop.

Tasting Notes

Bright ruby red in color with deep violet highlights. The perfume is immediate and intense, uncompromisingly winey and persistent, with primary aromas. Redolent of grape must which, while ageing, develops sensations of red wild berries. The mouth is dry and full-bodied, elegant and round, with notes of fruit and a wonderfully fresh and juicy finish. Tannins are fine and perfectly integrated
