Product Notes

Escarpment Te Rehua Pinot Noir is an exquisite New Zealand wine, embodying luxury and refinement. With a stunning ruby hue, its aroma captivates with a medley of ripe dark cherries, plums, and delicate floral undertones. On the palate, it elegantly balances berry sweetness and earthy richness, introducing nuances of spices and hints of oak. The finish is impressively complex, smooth and lingering. Handpicked from the finest vineyards, Te Rehua Pinot Noir is a testament to the Escarpment's commitment to unmatchable quality and quintessential Kiwi craftsmanship. A delightful experience for any wine connoisseur.

Tasting Notes

This wine was grown on the Barton Vineyard, Huangarua Road, Martinborough from 26-year-old vines. A combination of deep alluvial gravels which the Martinborough Terraces are renowned for and a blend of many clones grown in a very sheltered spot always rewards with a classic example of New World Pinot Noir. It has a unique site derived complexity combined with black cherry/plum fruit flavours.
