The Cantele Salice Salentino Rosso Riserva is an exquisite Italian red wine originating from the Salento Peninsula. Displaying ruby red hues, this full-bodied blend boasts ethereal notes of ripe red fruits, finely integrated with hints of liquorice, tobacco, and sly earthy undertones. It is beguilingly aromatic, and seamlessly married with smooth oak and silky tannins. Aged for 6 months in oak barrels, the wine boasts a splendid and intricate structure. It pairs exquisitely with red meats, game and matured cheeses. Offering a distinctive taste of the region, this Rosso Riserva is a captivating tribute to Italy's wine heritage.

Tasting Notes

Colour - Streaks of garnet giving way to intense ruby red. Nose - Candied fruits and spices that evolve into clean underbrush, tea, and amber notes. Palate - Enhanced by notes of red flowers, the aromas return on the palate transported by confident but not overbearing alcohol. The tannins and fresh acidity work in counterpoint to create a balanced, soft wine.
