A harmonious blend of Roussanne, Grenache Blanc and Marsanne, it offers pleasant complexity and longevity. The winemaking process involves maturation in French oak barrels, lending a creamy texture and layered depth. About the Winery

Chêne Bleu

Nestled within the Provence countryside of France, you'll discover Chêne Bleu; a winery unlike any other. It is markedly unique, astonishingly gorgeous and gravitated towards the artisanal production of exceptional wine.

Unearth a wonder of aestheticity with the Chêne Bleu wine-making estate. Their 30-hectare vineyard is impressively nestled at an altitude of 550 to 630 meters on the slopes of La Verrière: an enchanted backdrop that serpentines around a 9th-century priory incredibly restored over a course of ten painstaking years.

Boasting an exceptional terroir, created from an uncommon, complex blend of clay, limestone, iron and sandstone soil; the winery, led by the Rolet family, is passionately devoted to taking the complexities of the earth and truly cherishing it, a stance matched only by their dedication to organic and biodynamic farming practices.

What sets Chêne Bleu apart encompasses not only the excellence of their unique terroir, but additionally, their artisanal winemaking techniques and long-term aging processes. They produce impeccable Rhône-style wines from Grenache, Syrah and Viognier, along with a hint of Roussanne and Marsanne. Their Grenache is 40 years old, and the Syrah's have an approximate age of twenty-five years.

Chêne Bleu wines are notably vibrant, exhibiting astonishing complexity and depth that promises to gratify even the most discerning of palette.

Indeed, visiting Chêne Bleu goes beyond a traditional wine-tasting affair as it offers an immersion into an exquisite blend of history, art, wine and gastronomy, all embraced by the estate's luxuriant panorama. The place is as much about the wines as it is about preserving the French rural heritage and championing the slow life; largely achieved through their popular wine school, lauded gastronomic events, and luxurious accommodations.

This exceptional winery leaves no stone un-turned when it comes to captivate wine connoisseurs the world over: it is definitely not to be missed.
