Product Notes

Li Veli Orion Primitivo Salento IGT is a beautiful red wine hailing from Italy's Puglia region. This primitivo is distinguished by its rich, full-bodied palate, boasting flavours of ripe cherries, plums, and hints of spice. An appealing ruby red colour carries an evident bouquet accented with notes of red fruit and blackberry. Matured in French oak barrels, it brings about a delicate hint of vanilla and toast on the finish. Its blend creates a harmonious balance between acidity and tannin, making it a fantastic partner to robust meat dishes or indulgent cheeses. The wine offers a remarkably memorable tasting experience.

Tasting Notes

Dense ruby red with a purplish rim, it is intense on the nose with marked aromas of ripe and fleshy red fruits, notably cherries, followed by spicy notes of cinnamon and nutmeg. On the palate it is full, powerful, smooth and very long.
