Tenuta Olim Bauda Nebbiolo d'Alba DOC San Pietro is an exquisite Italian wine, hailing from the Piedmont region. This red radiates a seductive ruby red hue, and delights the palate with a harmonious blend of fruity notes, such as ripe plum and cherry, underscored by earthy undertones of truffle and tobacco. Aging in fine oak barrels imbues the wine with a richly nuanced body and a spicy, lingering finish. This Nebbiolo d'Alba is versatile, pairing brilliantly with a range of hearty dishes, truly capturing the essence of Italian viticulture.

Tasting Notes

The typical ruby red colour of Nebbiolo. Ample and complex. The sensations are floral, with notes of fresh and withered rose and violet, wild strawberries, raspberries and cherry jam, spice, chocolate, cloves, black pepper and nutmeg. This is a wine warmed by alcohol, presenting finely marked tannins that are smooth, but with tart and acidic notes.
