Product Notes

Troupis Winery's TOMH Rosé Moschofilero is an elegant Greek rosé wine full of character. Its vibrant cherry-pink hue hints at its bold yet refreshing flavour profile. Distinguished by a fragrant bouquet of ripe strawberries, watermelon and light citrusy notes, it encapsulates the essence of breezy Mediterranean vineyards. This versatile wine seamlessly balances crisp acidity with a surprising warmth, often attributed to the unique Moschofilero grape variant from which it is expertly crafted. Perfect for light dishes or as an aperitif, TOMH Rosé Moschofilero from the Troupis Winery affirms Greece's rising prominence in the global wine scene.

Tasting Notes

The scent of quince, dried apricots and red apples are followed by a crisp acidity and a citrus peel aftertaste.

About the Winery

Troupis Winery

Tucked away in the verdant slopes of Mantinia, a region renowned for its viniculture, you'll find the Troupis Winery. This family run operation is truly at the heart of the Greek winemaking industry, breathing new life into the ancient winemaking methods with its avant-garde techniques.

The winery has been making waves in the winemaking community since its establishment in 1987! Back then, Yiannis Troupis turned his passion for cultivating the local Moschofilero grape into his family's livelihood. Enabled by the unique cool climate and high altitude of the Mantinia plateau. The vineyard spread across a generous 450 acres of enchanting landscapes, and has been handled with warmth and dedication by every member of the Troupis household since.

Troupis Winery, true to its traditional roots, operates with a minimal intervention approach, letting the land and vines speak for themselves. They've mastered the art of organic farming and low intervention viniculture, ensuring that their wines express the purest form of their terroir. They are particularly well known for their Moschofilero-based wines, which elegantly bring out the grape’s distinct rose petal and spice aromas, a characteristic fondly appreciated by wine amateurs and connoisseurs alike!

Planning a visit to the Troupis Winery comes highly recommended. Not only will you be able to bask in the mesmerising vistas of the Mantinia slopes, but you'll also get a chance to witness the winemaking process up-close, from the grape picking to the final bottling.
