Product Notes
Casa Rojo Moltó Negre Brut Cava is a Spanish sparkling wine, known for its refined complexity and exquisite balance. Produced in Penedès, Catalonia, it boasts a rich, dark ruby hue, from the traditional grape varieties of Macabeo, Xarel-lo and Parellada. This sophisticated cava surprises with its delightful notes of red fruits, harmonised with the crisp acidity. On the palate, it unfolds graceful layers of fresh raspberry and cherry, wrapped in a delicate mousse. With its fine, persistent bubbles, this brut cava makes a charming companion for special occasions, effortlessly elevating the simplest of dishes to an epicurean delight.
Tasting Notes
Much in the style of the Casa Rojo still wines, this Cava demonstrates the relationship between winemaker, grape and region. Made from Trepat grape variety, used in the north-east of Spain for generations to make sparkling wine. The style is fresh and fruit-led, although there are notes of brioche; the fizz, developed by the Traditional Method, is generous and combines well with the freshness on the finish.
