Product Notes

Anthonij Rupert Cape of Good Hope - Altima Sauvignon Blanc is a stellar South African wine, embodying the true essence of the cool climate vineyards of the Western Cape. This delightful wine exhibits a gorgeous balance of crisp acidity and a symphony of fresh, tropical fruit flavours. Subtle notes of green pear, crisp apple, and zesty lemon are beautifully paired with a mineral edge, hinting at its high-altitude origins. The wine has a long, satisfying finish, making it a delightful choice for any occasion. A versatile match for a range of dishes, but particularly brilliant with shellfish.

Tasting Notes

The initial aromas of intense asparagus and green pepper are followed by upfront passion fruit and gooseberry on the nose. The palate is rich and full of the same intense and powerful flavour, beautifully balanced by the tangy acidity which gives length and vibrancy to the succulent tropical sweetness. A lip smacking wine with a long, juicy finish.

About the Winery

Anthonij Rupert

Anthonij Rupert winery is a vineyard beyond compare, nestled comfortably in the verdant heart of South Africa's Franschhoek Valley. This spectacular winery nods respectfully towards a rich heritage, while relentlessly striving for innovative excellence.

Our state-of-the-art cellars allow us to meticulously control all stages of the winemaking process, embodying commitment to precision and craftsmanship. Visitors can expect an immersive experience, from vineyard tours to wine tasting led by our knowledgeable staff with expertise in each unique blend.

Our haughty belief in the unique soil and exceptional local climate forms the bedrock of our passion. It's a challenge we take with us into each harvest, as we strive to bottle the very essence of our unique terroir.

Anthonij Rupert's portfolio contains a diverse medley of wine, with each offering set apart by distinct taste and structure. Thus, truly carrying the diversity of the South African landscape.
