Arianna Occhipinti's Siccagno Nero d'Avola Sicilia is a brilliant, full-bodied red wine from sunny Sicily. Born from organic, hand-picked grapes, this wine exudes Sicilian terroir. It boasts a smoky, earthy bouquet intertwined with ripe cherries, blackcurrants, and pomegranate notes. On the palate, it unfolds flavours of spices, plums and dark chocolate, balanced with savoury minerality. The tannins are elegantly structured, leading to a long, satisfying finish. Occhipinti's glorious 10-hectare plot, located in Vittoria, basks in the Sicilian sun whilst the vineyards are caressed by the Mediterranean breeze. This provides optimal conditions for the growth of their signature grapes; Nero d'Avola and Frappato. Using strictly organic farming methods, grapes are lovingly nurtured and transformed into an extraordinary medley of natural wines.

Interestingly, each bottle of Occhipinti is emblematic of Arianna's commitment to an organic and biodynamic process. No chemicals are permitted to infiltrate the vineyards and the wines are fermented using only natural yeasts.
