Product Notes

Derived from the opulent hills of Piedmont, Italy, Brovia Barolo Villero wine is a quintessentially timeless vintage. Boasting a ruddy garnet hue, it teases the senses with an array of elegant aromas like ripened blackcurrant, cedar and subtle hints of tar. The full-bodied palate sparkles with an exquisite balance of savoury spices, dried cherries and earthy undertones. With polished tannins and progressive ageing potential, this wine envelope the tongue in a prolonged, harmonious finish. Heralded as one of Italy's finest, Brovia Barolo Villero wine offers a superb accompaniment to hearty meat dishes or matured cheeses.

Tasting Notes

Complex and gregarious, if very structured, offering an array of corpulent berry, plum, dried violet and tobacco leaf characteristics. Quite and extroverted and structured Villero but with more than enough flesh to cover the bones. From more compact clay soils than the Rocche facing south west, giving rounder more generous wines that nonetheless maintain a certain elegance. Aged in large used oak casks for two years.

Their collection is comprised of reliable and high-quality Barolos growing from a verdant territory that spans across roughly nineteen hectares. The estate produces about 60,000 bottles annually, spanning traditional Piedmontese varietals including Barolo, Barbera d'Alba, and Dolcetto d'Alba.

One of the jewels in their crown is the Barolo "Villero" crafted from the Nebbiolo grape.
