Product Notes
A strikingly expressive wine, the Castello di Verduno Barolo Massara is crafted from Nebbiolo grapes in Piedmont, Italy. The soil's marl composition endows it a unique character, incorporating rich, earthy tones in the palette. A ruby-red allure and intoxicating aroma of raspberries, truffles, and leaves, supplemented by a delicate hint of spice, invite discerning drinkers. This wine has a full-bodied taste, with notable tannins resulting in a velvety mouthful. Its harmonious balance of acidity and fruitiness tantalises the taste buds, leaving a persistent aftertaste. A spectacular monarchy of flavours, it is indeed an elegant addition to one's wine collection.
Tasting Notes
Radiant yet heady fruit. Very “Verduno” in style for its perfumed, explosive aromatics. The tannins are a little less silky and more edgy than those of Monvigliero but this is all part of the fun, character and energy of this wine, pairing well with the hugely joyful, gregarious ripe cherry and violet-tinged fruit
