This tantalising blend, often dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, opens up to a flourish of dark berry fruits, earth tones and subtle spices on the palate. With its profound depth, the wine beautifully balances vigour and finesse, enriched by ageing in oak barrels. Its complex aromatic profile and persistent finish make every sip a sensory delight. Chateau Latour-Martillac Rouge promises elegance and compulsive drinkability, making it an excellent companion for a range of hearty dishes.
Tasting Notes
The colour of this wine, with sparkling reflections, is intense and deep. Its complex nose combines black fruits (blackcurrant, black cherry, blueberry) and local smoky notes, with a touch of spices and pepper. The palate is soft and silky, evolves towards a full and harmonious mouthfeel. A nice balance between tannins and freshness, which develops through a very nice length.
