Dog Point Vineyard’s journey started in the early 80’s, when the founders, James Healy and Ivan Sutherland, took their combined expertise as viticulturist and winemaker respectively and began transforming a 2000-hectare sheep farm into a flourishing vineyard. A serendipitous blend of innovation with tradition has resulted in some of New Zealand’s finest bottles of Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
