Nestled in the heart of Basque country, Domaine Arretxea winery paints a picture of natural splendour and winemaking tradition. Founded by Michel and Thérèse Riouspeyrous in 1989, Domaine Arretxea boasts six hectares of vineyard land, compartmentalised into small individual parcels reflecting the unique terroir. Here, indigenous Irouléguy grape varieties thrive, including Tannat, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Manseng and Gros Manseng.

The Riouspeyrous family's dedication to biodynamic farming is truly inspiring. Every phase of the vinification process is regulated by the lunar and cosmic cycles, and absolutely no artificial chemicals are used in the vineyards. The soil consists largely of schist and chalky clay, enhancing the minerality and freshness of the wines produced.

Domaine Arretxea produces a palate-enticing variety such as powerful yet elegant reds, and aromatic, complex whites.
