On the nose, one detects an enchanting bouquet of ripened cherries, blackcurrants, and hints of chocolate mingling with undercurrents of savoury spice. The palate experiences a jubilant symphony of luscious fruit flavours balanced with velvety tannins. Its richness never overpowers, instead cascading in a multi-layered, complex taste that lingers impressively. Aged in French oak, the Eclipse has a splendid depth and a beauty that captures the passion and skill of its makers. It's an exquisite, truly luxurious treat for any wine lover.

Tasting Notes

The 2022 Eclipse displays a lovely red robe. The deep colour this year was immediately apparent when crushing the grapes. The aroma is very attractive, with ripe red berries in abundance, along with spice and a woodsy undergrowth note. Great depth of flavour filling every corner of the palate, developing richness and building right through to the long, firm finish
