Product Notes

St Hallett Blackwell Shiraz is a vivid red wine hailing from Australia's renowned Barossa Valley region. Esteemed for its rich, full-bodied character, it tantalises the palate with dark fruit notes of blackberry and plum, harmoniously melding with hints of chocolate and spice. This Shiraz is matured in American Oak hogsheads, contributing an overlay of vanilla and toasted nuances to the overall depth of flavour. Its robust tannic structure and exquisite balance make it an excellent partner for hearty dishes. Displaying opulence, complexity, and a satisfying finish, it illustrates the mastery of Australian winemaking.

Tasting Notes

A rich, deep crimson red, with vibrant hues. Complex layers of blackberry, fine cocoa and hints of baking spices gently elevate from the glass. An opulent and elegant Barossa Shiraz with complex flavours of blackberry and black forest, followed by waves of cocoa and baking spice on the middle palate. The supple tannins are well polished, persistent, and perfectly complement the American oak. This brilliantly structured, full-bodied and balanced wine will reward careful cellaring in years to come.
