Gigliola and Vittorio named the winery after the local nickname for the wren, a charming bird known for its song, just as Tenuta Le Potazzine is known for harmonious wines.

The winery spans over five hectares of vineyards, producing approximately 20,000 bottles of wine every year. The emphasis at Tenuta Le Potazzine is always on quality, rather than quantity, resulting in wines crafted with meticulous care and attention. Wines are aged in Slavonian oak for an extended period and left to mature in bottles before they are finally ready to be uncorked, savoured and enjoyed.

The vineyard is divided into four main plots, each harvesting their unique variety of Sangiovese grapes used to produce the signature Brunello and Rosso wines.
