Product Notes

Zorah Heritage Chilar wine is an exquisite Armenian red blend, offering a unique experience from an ancient wine culture. Grown in rocky, volcanic soil and noble Armenian Khndoghni grapes, this full-bodied wine presents a beautiful deep ruby hue. Complex and layered, it features rich flavours of ripe red fruits, distinct sweet spices, and hints of chocolate and earthy notes. These harmonise beautifully for a smooth finish. Beautifully structured, this wine truly captures the spirit of its home, reflecting centuries of winemaking tradition. Perfectly paired with red meats and mature cheeses, the Zorah Heritage Chilar is a testament to the art of Armenian winemaking.

Tasting Notes

Pale lemon in colour, despite the skin contact, this wine is beautifully balanced and textural. The nose boasts fresh pear and white peach aromas, with subtle notes of fennel. There is a harmonious depth to the palate, with flavours of citrus on the long finish.
