Product Notes

Cockburn's Late Bottled Vintage (LBV) wine is a delight for connoisseurs, boasting excellent depth and complexity. This full-bodied port is ruby-hued and exhibits a delightful melange of flavours. Bursting with notes of dark, ripe fruits and balanced by subtle, spicy undertones, this wine reveals a delightful identity. Crafted from grapes harvested in superior years and aged for four to six years in oak barrels, adding layers of maturity and roundness to its profile. The finish, just as outstanding, is velvety and lingering. Overall, Cockburn's LBV wine offers an indulgent experience that truly embodies the craftsmanship of its makers.

Tasting Notes

Intense crimson centre with a bright, garnet rim. The sizeable contribution made by Touriga Nacional in this vintage is mirrored in the floral aromas which are typical of this variety. Red fruits, ranging from raspberry and strawberry to red cherry are evident on the palate, a signature feature of the Canais vineyard, which provided an important component for this LBV. The Touriga Franca and Sousão from both Canais and Vale Coelho buttress the structure and underpin the balance of this excellent 2014 Cockburn’s Late Bottled Vintage Port
