Babich

Established in 1916, Babich Wines is New Zealand's most experienced family-owned winery. Nestled in the picturesque Henderson Valley in Auckland, Babich is renowned for producing a wide array of exceptional and award-winning wines that captivate the palates of experts and enthusiasts alike.

The winery’s founder, Josip Babich, was a trailblazer in New Zealand wine production. Immigrating to New Zealand at the tender age of 14, he planted his first vines in 1912. Over more than a century, Babich has branched out across some of New Zealand's prime vineyard sites.
