Product Notes

Bodegas LAN Rioja Gran Reserva wine is a distinguished Spanish red wine from the Rioja Alta region. It presents a rich, ruby-red colour that evolves into garnet hues over time. The bouquet surprises with complex aromas of ripe fruits, spices, and hints of vanilla, complementing its noble palate. Grown in vineyards of exceptional provenance, the maturity of this Gran Reserva is fashioned by 24 months in American and French oak barrels and several years in the bottle. It culminates in a velvety mouthfeel and persistent finish, truly encompassing the superiority and tradition of Riojan winemaking.

Tasting Notes

Garnet in colour, with ruby hues. On the nose, aromas of ripe red fruits and liquorice combine with vanilla, smoke and cinnamon, the result of the extended oak ageing, and tertiary aromas of leather and tobacco from prolonged bottle ageing. On the palate the wine is full bodied and round, with velvety tannins and a crisp acidity which balances the intense flavours and carries them onto the lingering finish.
