Product Notes

The Cordero di Montezemolo Dolcetto d’Alba DOC is a captivating Italian red wine originating from Piedmont. It proudly boasts a striking garnet hue, hinting at the rich and balanced flavour contained within. On the nose, it presents a delightful array of cherry, prune, and subtle almond notes. This medium-bodied wine confidently walks the line between savoury and fruity flavours, with notes of black cherry and violet subtly partnering with gentle spice accents. With soft tannins and a refreshing acidity level, it is versatile and perfect for immediate enjoyment. Truly, it's an elegant example of Dolcetto d’Alba's complexity and charm.

Tasting Notes

In spite of its name, which would suggest that it is sweet, this product embodies the true spirit of traditional and modern drinking at mealtimes in Piedmont. A dry, almost bitter wine, very vinous and medium-bodied. It was and still is the wine of everyday tables where food, whatever it may be, and wine come together with the sole ambition of making diners feel good and happy. Easy enjoyment, satisfaction and the desire to pour another drop. This is what we believe Dolcetto d’Alba should be.
