Forest fruit and dark plums are the main descriptors here, with a herbal earthy edge but also transparency. The tannins are drier than the other wines, a consequence of Pinotage’s thicker skins, but yet this is a bright and juicy wine that is one of the flagship examples in the “new wave” movement.
