Product Notes

Domaine de Montille's Corton Charlemagne Grand Cru is a highly respected French wine, renowned for its sophisticated complexity. This chardonnay impresses with its exceptional richness and elegance. It possesses a bright golden hue, hazelnut aromas, and a voluptuous palate, featuring flavours of ripe orchard fruit, toasted bread and buttery vanilla underpinned by invigorating acidity. Maturing for up to 20 years, it beautifully evolves; it's finish is lengthy, leaving an unforgettable taste. An ideal pairing for lobster or rich cream sauces, it truly epitomises luxury. Designed for connoisseurs, it unquestionably stands within the apex of white Burgundy wines.

Tasting Notes

This Corton-Charlemagne is direct and almost masculine. The mouthfeel is powerful, profound, filling and rich yet highly structured. It impresses with its density and its elegance. The finish is persistent and mineral. This requires five to eight years to fully express itself.
