About the Winery

Domaine Rebourgeon-Mure

Established in the heart of Burgundy, France, Domaine Rebourgeon-Mure is a notable family-run winery steeped in tradition. For over four generations, the winery has been producing some of the finest wine in the boutique Burgundian style they so passionately advocate.

Tucked away in Pommard, a village renowned for its unique terroir, Domaine Rebourgeon-Mure specialises in Pinot Noir, but also crafts an impressive array of Chardonnay. The wines embody the distinctive character of Burgundy. They are known for their delicacy and elegance, achieved through meticulous practice.

The winery itself is a beautiful blend of old and new. Historic stone buildings house the cellars, where nuanced notes are carefully coaxed from the fruit in the traditional fashion; maturing and ageing the wines in oak barrels. Yet, despite their ancestral methods, the family has not shied away from technology. Innovative practices and modern tools make their mark in the production process, allowing for balanced nature-led cultivation.

Spanning over eight hectares, you can find the vineyards sprawling across prestigious appellations such as Pommard and Volnay. The care and attention lavished upon these vines are clear in every glass of wine produced. Strict pruning and organic supplements promote the health of the vine, whilst encouraging concentration of flavours in the grapes and the resulting wine.

Domaine Rebourgeon-Mure has earned ardent praise from critics, and with good reason. The amalgamation of traditional techniques and modern sensibility results in exquisite wines that reflect the unique terroir and skilled winemaking; wines that not only meet but surpass expectations. The Domaine continues to embrace the familial spirit that started the winery. maintaining a profound respect for the vineyards and honouring the unique personality each vintage brings.
