Product Notes

Kir-Yianni Akakies Xinomavro Rosé is an exquisite Greek wine that marries complexity with balance. A beautiful deep pink hue in the glass, it entices with notes of red fruit, wild cherries and hints of spices. Crafted from hand-picked Xinomavro grapes, it boasts a fresh, tangy acidity and medium body. Aged on lees, this wine flaunts a rich texture and bouquet, offering a unique take on the typical rosé profile. Simultaneously robust and refreshing, the Akakies Xinomavro Rosé embodies the rich vineyard heritage of Kir-Yianni, making it the perfect partner for a diverse range of dishes.

Tasting Notes

Bright, with a rich aromatic character aromas of strawberry and small red forest fruits compose the typically seductive character of the wine. The round acidity is refreshing, without the pungent intensity of an Amyndeon rosé, while the wine finishes with a lingering, fruity aftertaste. Fruity with vegetal notes, refreshing acidity and a lingering aftertaste
