Product Notes

The Kleine Zalze Vineyard Selection Chardonnay is a South African gem. It seduces the palate with elegant flavours of ripe apple, peach and a hint of citrus, enriched by creamy undertones. Produced in the prestigious Stellenbosch region, it boasts a robust character from the fine French oak aging. The nose offers a medley of toasty vanilla and butterscotch, complementing its lush, fruit-forward taste. It exhibits a pleasing mineral finish, typifying the excellence of its terroir. This full-bodied Chardonnay is exquisite, offering a tasteful balance of intensity and refinement. An absolutely laudable testament to the winery's craftsmanship.

Tasting Notes

Crafted from old vine fruit this is an elegant and complex Chardonnay. The nose is fresh and lively with the merest hint of toast and butterscotch while the intensely flavoured palate shows white peach, crisp pear and rich citrus backed up by a taut mineral acidity and a succulent texture showing well integrated, subtle oak. The finish is long, clean and creamily rich.
