About the Winery

Ktima Biblia Chora

Located in the heart of northern Greece, Ktima Biblia Chora is a renowned winery that beautifully amalgamates ancient tradition with cutting-edge technology. The winery is situated on the slopes of the historic Mount Pangeon, boasting an enchanting landscape that's brimming with natural beauty. Enveloped by lush vineyards and olive groves, the winery offers not only a unique taste of high-quality Greek wines but also a serene escape into nature.

An initiative of two friends, oenologist Vassilis Tsaktsarlis and viticulturist Vangelis Gerovassiliou, Ktima Biblia Chora was established in the late 90s with an unwavering commitment to express the uniqueness of Greek terroir through their illustrious wines. The vineyard spans around 48 hectares, meticulously planted with a superb mix of indigenous and international varieties.

As a result, the winery produces an impressive bouquet of wines that defies expectations and challenges the idea of predictable wine making both within Greece and beyond. They're renowned for their Ovilos wines, a unique blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Assyrtiko, a native Greek grape that brings forth a minerality and acidity that is distinctly Greek: a taste so particular that connoisseurs can't help but appreciate.

The winery’s state-of-art facilities are designed to facilitate the production of high-quality wines. The winemaking process is carried out with utmost care, ensuring that the grapes' true flavour profile is captured in each and every bottle.

Visiting the Ktima Biblia Chora winery is a remarkable experience for both wine connoisseurs and nature enthusiasts alike. With its idyllic setting, patrons can explore the serene vineyards, indulge in sumptuous wine tasting sessions or simply soak up the sun while enjoying the panoramic views.
