Product Notes
Neudorf Vineyards Tom's Block Pinot Noir exudes a sublime mixture of grace and complexity. This New Zealand wine presents a bouquet of ripe raspberries and black cherries with a hint of exotic spices. On the palate, it offers a bold, well-structured blend of berry flavours, balanced exquisitely with restrained oak and a whiff of vanilla. Its firm tannins and long, textured finish are reminiscent of a fine Burgundy. Crafted in the Nelson region, this Pinot Noir embodies the exceptional terroir it originates from. Ideal for special occasions or simply to indulge oneself in a mile-long finish of velvety-smooth taste.
Tasting Notes
The nose has a deep and dark winter stone fruit note. The palate is a woven series of dark plum and cloves. Nelson pinot celebrates an underlying umami or savoury note and this is no exception. Nothing is out of balance in this bottle... there is ripe fruit, sauvory notes, a little spice and a lot of moreish.
