Product Notes

Penfolds Bin 600 Cabernet Shiraz combines the richness of Californian soil with classic Australian winemaking. This harmonious blend exhibits a deep ruby hue, enticing the senses with elegant aromas of cherry, blackcurrant, and fragrant spices. The robust cabernet enhances the soft, inviting shiraz, yielding a perfectly structured palate bursting with fresh fruits and delicate oak nuances. With a velvety texture and a lingering finish, this opulent wine captivates with every sip. Ideal with rich meats, it's a stunning testament to Penfolds' dedication to producing superb, full-bodied wines. Invite sophistication to your table with Bin 600.

Tasting Notes

COLOUR - Soft red/purple core with a ruby rim. NOSE - A nose that immediately seduces. Initial scents of steamed fig/treacle pudding which transition into fragrant roses. This floral note then entwines with the warm, buttery aroma of French pastries — freshly baked brioche and blueberry danish. The core fruits of boysenberry meld with the innate characters of Cabernet and Shiraz. A savoury complexity emerges through pepper crusted ham and pastrami, while green peppercorns provide a fresh, spicy lift. PALATE - On tasting, the palate reveals itself to be both creamy and soft, with bright fruits that promise immediate gratification. This wine exhibits lovely drinkability; it’s balanced and fine-tuned. Cherry Ripe unfurls across the tongue, followed by a nod to strawberries and cream sweets.
