Product Notes

Springfield Estate's Work of Time Bordeaux Blend is indeed a testament to patience and dedication. A harmonious fusion of classic Bordeaux varieties, it presents an expressive bouquet of blackberries, plums, and subtle oak undertones. Each sip reveals layers of complex flavours, with dark fruits often taking centre-stage, elegantly infused with hints of chocolate and spice. The tannins are refined and seamlessly integrated, providing a backbone to this enchanting wine, while its delicate freshness beautifully lingers on the palate. Aged in French oak barrels for 24 months, it unquestionably echoes Springfield Estate's exceptional craftsmanship.

Tasting Notes

Quite deep and concentrated on the nose, it displays an array of aromas of dark berries, smoke, cedar, iron, tobacco, pepper and liquorice. It opens up on the palate to reveal crisp cassis fruit and cherry with smoky tobacco edges and a hint of green pepper all hung on a ripe firm structure. Excellent balance.
