Product Notes
Bodegas Emilio Moro Malleolus Ribera del Duero is a remarkable Spanish wine that astounds anyone with a taste for sophistication. This single-vineyard offering, exclusively from Tempranillo grapes, hails from Ribera del Duero's high-altitude vineyards. It boasts a dark garnet hue and an intoxicating bouquet of ripe black fruits, sweet spices and toasted oak. On the palate, this full-bodied wine impresses with its depth of flavour, velvety tannins and satisfyingly long finish. Careful ageing imparts a luxurious touch of vanilla and caramel, making it a remarkable accompaniment to rich game or mature cheeses. Truly, a paragon of Spanish viticulture.
Tasting Notes
Very deep, intense cherry red in colour, a result of a low yield. It has a dense, ripe aroma, an intense wine with plenty of personality. The balance between ripeness and freshness is excellent, and its months of ageing in 500-litre barrels has given it plenty of complexity. It is powerful and structured in the mouth, with good balance and a long, persistent finish.
