Crystallum

Crystallum is a small, family-run winery situated in the beautiful Walker Bay region of South Africa. Established in 2007 by two brothers, Peter-Allan and Andrew Finlayson, Crystallum has quickly become renowned for their exquisite productions of Burgundian-style Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.

The Finlayson brothers are third-generation winemakers, hailing from a lineage that contributed significantly to the South African wine industry, Their father Peter Finlayson, a renowned winemaker of his own merit played a pivotal role in their passion for winemaking. The name of their winery, Crystallum, is derived from the Latin word for crystal, signifying their pursuit of clarity and purity in their wines.

Crystallum winery takes a minimalist approach to wine production. The wines are fermented using native yeasts and are aged for a minimum of 12 months in French oak barrels. Organic and biodynamic principles are adhered to in order to keep the vineyards as natural and untouched as possible.

Their portfolio of wines includes the Cuvee Cinema Pinot Noir, the Clay Shales Chardonnay and Agnes Chardonnay, all offering appreciators an exceptional tasting experience. Each bottle perfectly encapsulates the unique terroir of the Walker Bay region.
