Product Notes
Dubbed as a masterpiece from Waiheke Island, New Zealand, the Man O' War Dreadnought Syrah charms with its seductive black fruit and wild bramble flavours accompanied with dashes of white pepper and liquorice. High-quality hand harvested grapes lend a velvety texture. Gracefully aged in French oak barrels, it flaunts an alluring rich, profoundly dark palate, displaying impeccable balance and depth. Its lingering finish resonates with hints of cocoa, earthiness, and spice. An exquisite addition to any cellar, this full-bodied classic presents a stunning embodiment of raw power and finesse, revealing layer upon layer at every lingering sip. Exceptionally well-structured, it's beloved amongst passionate connoisseurs.
Tasting Notes
Classic Dreadnought, smoky peat, earthy crushed rock overlaid with blueberry, dark berry, and dried herbs. The palate is athletic with a ripped middleweight physique, an artful display of power and control. The fruit is ripe, coating the core of tannin and acidity, which is supported by a sinew of stem inclusion further balanced by a high quality framework of oak. 2020 Dreadnought continues its run as a unique and unorthodox Syrah from an excellent vintage.
