Product Notes
Martín Códax Lías Rías Baixas Albariño is hailed as a fantastically refreshing and sprightly Spanish white wine. Produced in the lush, coastal Rías Baixas region of Spain, this wine showcases the alluring characteristic of the Albariño grape variety. Elegant yet delightfully zesty, it offers distinctive flavours of ripe citrus fruits, white flowers and crisp apples, underlined by a subtle mineral undertone. Additionally, its time ageing on lees imparts it a creamy complexity whilst maintaining a vibrant, balanced acidity that feels delightful on the palate. All in all, this wine is a perfect accompaniment for seafood dishes or on a warm, sunny day.
Tasting Notes
Intense straw-coloured appearance. High aromatic intensity, notes of very ripe fruit of pear, apple or white peach, reminiscent of clean lees aging (yeast, vanilla, fresh warm bread). The wine goes upfront in the mouth, with surprising fat and volume, long finish with fresh fruit, lactic and warm brioche notes.
