Product Notes
The Martín Códax Organistrum Rías Baixas Albariño is a Spanish wine that exudes a remarkable balance of class and sophistication. This stunning white wine, hailing from Galicia's granite bedrocks, brims with robust notes of ripe peaches, zesty lemons and crisp apples, underpinned by distinctive minerality. Fermented on its lees and partially aged in oak barrels, it presents a complex and rich palate, with a well-structured acidity. A real treat for oenophiles, the Organistrum Albariño pairs superbly with seafood and offers an enticing wine drinking experience. Its vibrant, sun-drenched quality makes it a superb emblem of Spain's lively Rías Baixas region.
Tasting Notes
Straw-yellow colour with intense green highlights. Nose: High aromatic intensity with a first touch of freshness, caramel and cocoa which reminds of the oak influence in the wine. Then the varietal fruit notes take place in a more ripe and soothing way: quince and apple compote. Palate: Balanced and structured. Round, full-bodied and powerful with a nice balanced acidity thanks to the bâtonnage, as well as spiced and long lasting.
