Product Notes

Miguel Torres Santa Digna Merlot is a Chilean red wine of distinct prestige. The intriguing bouquet opens with a harmony of currant, cherry and plum aromas, followed by a hint of vanilla and spice. On the palate, it displays a velvety depth with well-integrated tannins. Full-bodied, it offers a fine balance of fruit and oak, creating a pleasingly smooth finish. This well-liked Merlot reflects the excellent winemaking traditions of Miguel Torres estate. Paired excellently with savoury dishes, it's a delightful companion to your favourite roast or grilled meats. Truly, a dignified choice for wine lovers.

Tasting Notes

Following several years of experimentation, we decided to introduce plantations into several climates, from the torrid coastal strip to the coolest of areas, Río Claro. By blending these diferent origins we obtain a Merlot with great aromatic intensity, plum and blackberry jam mixed with spicy hints of vanilla and liquorice. A very attractive and elegant palate, enriched with toasted notes acquired through its oak ageing and a long aftertaste with lingering spices.
