Product Notes
Redman The Redman is an intriguing Australian blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Shiraz. Hailing from Coonawarra, this voluptuous wine presents an exquisite fusion of luscious blackcurrant, plum, and ripe raspberry flavours. Hints of cedar, spice and delicate tannins leave an endearing complexity. The palate is robust yet smooth, showcasing an excellent balance between fruit and oak. One can appreciate the deft blending of the three grapes, each leaving their unique, distinguishing imprint. Aged in French oak, the wine delivers a pleasing finish, making it a perfect partner for hearty meat dishes or a sumptuous cheese platter. Truly, an exceptional portrayal of Australian winemaking.
Tasting Notes
The colour, the brightness of flavour and the fruit bely its age, although there are certainly tertiary flavours within. Lovely cedar box and baking spices, ironstone and warm bitumen. The tannins are perfectly poised, with excellent acidity, and the finish long and pure. A stunning The Redman with a few more years ahead of it yet.
