Product Notes
Teusner's The Dog Strangler Mataro is an exquisite Australian wine crafted with masterful finesse. This robust red wine envelops one's palate with a profusion of flavours - dark cherries, plums, wild berries and a hint of spice. Its impressive medium body, balanced acidity, and rich tannins spring from the old, dry-grown vineyards of Barossa Valley. The unique bouquet emerges from its 20 months' maturation in French oak barrels. The enticing finish of The Dog Strangler makes it a perfect companion for meat dishes and age-worthy addition to a discerning connoisseur's cellar. Mataro, at its best, is truly personified in this wine.
