Product Notes
Warre's Bottle Aged LBV wine is an exquisite Port wine hailed from Portugal's Douro region. Renowned for its ravishing deep ruby colour, it tantalises the palate with notes of ripe fruits, dark chocolate and a hint of spice. The velvety texture, combined with a buoyant, structured body, creates a crescendo of flavours that persists in its long, lingering finish. Warre's LBV is aged four to six years before bottling, which elevates its complex characters and rounded mellow richness. This elegant and intensely flavoured wine is bound to deliver an unforgettable tasting experience. A formidable choice for pairing with cheese boards or a fruity dessert.
Tasting Notes
Near impenetrable colour, just beginning to fade slightly on the rim. Very lifted, floral bouquet of fresh lavender and violets. Multilayered on the palate with liquorice and cassis coating the succulent dark cherry and blackberry flavours. Broad and taught with schist tannins and fresh acidity giving the wine structure, balance and elegance. A wine to enjoy now, or through the next decade.
