Product Notes

Yalumba FSW8B Botrytis Viognier is an exquisite dessert wine derived from South Australia. Its golden-amber hue enchants the eye, while a delightful bouquet of honeyed apricots, marmalade, and exotic spices waltzes across the senses. The indulgent sweetness of this wine, balanced with crisp acidity, unfurls with flavours of ripe peaches and candied citrus. Notably, it carries a luxuriously rich and velvety texture, underpinned with sophisticated botrytis character - distinctly reminiscent of the noble rot wines from Bordeaux. A superb accompaniment to fruity desserts or blue cheese, the Yalumba FSW8B offers a resplendent conclusion to any meal.

Tasting Notes

The nose is an intense riot of meadow flower honey, apricots and ripe stone fruits. A mouthfilling and rich palate with the opulence of glazed fruit and cumquats. The finish is fresh with lingering flavours and a textured length.
